Need help to pick the chicks

Thank you for all your advice. I think I have narrowed my choices and will adjust my chicken housing for hot climates.

Had planned 4 chicks, but we think we may get 6. 2 of each - Dominique, Buff Orpington, and Americauana. Still like the Delaware, so am reserving my final decision until I see them.

Re: hot weather coop. Planning to build one like the famous Wichita, but will be adding more ventilation. This is to be located about 30 feet or so from my back door. The area gets only morning sun in the summer with deciduous shade trees protecting it from noon til dusk. In the winter it gets sun on and off thru the days.
