Need help to tell pullets from cockerels please.

Thanks! I appreciate it. Those two I suspected. I'm going to have to figure or some way to give them more space. Maybe that will help settle things down between them. Are they too young to go outside in the coop if I put a heat lamp in it?

Yes, your chicks are ready to move outside but make the change gradual so it doesn't shock their system.

Do it in stages :
Maybe for the first couple of days, only have them outside during the day and bring them in at night. Then move them outside with heat and after a couple of days of that remove the heat. Chicks are very resilient and that should be fine.

However this is very dependant on your weather, if you have a very cold climate, you may need to take longer when weaning them off the heat.

Thanks so much! I'll do that. The temps here are 40-50F's during the day and mid to upper 20F's at night.

Absolutely don't take my word for it I can't see clearly, and would be wrong a lot even if I could. But you can tell what birds have more comb development at this age, and if they also have thicker legs and are more "cut" or "ripped" in their muscular development, that's a cockerel for ya.
