So sorry for your loss, the distance between you must be difficult....This is a first for me, I've never heard of real estate agents going after widows/widowers! But have seen plenty of ambulance chasing ads for lawyers on TV! As long as your mom is OK financially, and sound in body and mind, tell her to hold onto the house until a reasonable offer is made. The housing market is so crazy right now with so many that absolutely must sell or loose, that some vultures are coming out to prey!
