I can’t figure out what’s going on. I have one out of eight jumbo pekin ducks that isn’t standing properly and seems like they can’t. It is about six weeks old and only it is having the problem. I have it on a diet that I have thought had appropriate niacin levels. I can’t seem to post videos but it seems to only push forward instead of up when it tries to walk. What am I missing?

Some ducks need more niacin then others especially jumbo pekin
I don’t have jumbo just regular and I add nutritional yeast to my feed up to 12 weeks
1tbs to 1 cup feed as well as adults a few times a week I sprinkle it in
Now that winter is here I am providing it everyday on feed to be sure
Because this one is showing signs of niacin issues you should get durvet vitamin b complex and give 1 ml over a treat or directly through mouth with syringe daily
I would also start adding the nutritional yeast to the feed to prevent any others from starting abc give the one in need more
You can’t over give niacin as the body releases what it doesn’t need
Adding to water dilutes it and no guarantee it gets enough in
This can take weeks to get them back up and moving properly so don’t give up after a few days
