Need help with 2 birds...

Thanks for all the replies. I do believe they came from a hatchery. We got them when they were a week old.

Yeller's legs are white, but they have red streaks down the sides, in between toes and on the back of his legs. Is this a problem and we need to take care of it ASAP? No one else has this problem in our flock.

Thanks!

No, the red streaks are a common thing in roosters.

What color are his eyes? The more I look at that bird, the more he looks like a broiler. His beak seems to have a yellow tint to it as well.

The 'earlobes' that we call earlobes are not exactly what you think they should be (at least, I think they don't look much like earlobes!

). The earlobes are the 'second wattle' behind the first, longer one. The ear itself on your cock has white feathers growing over it, but the 'earlobes' are red. If you look at Leghorns, they are white.

Hope this is at least a little helpful!

OK you said his feet are white.

Then body type rules out Orpington to me. How about a White Sussex the that would fit the birds descritption.

I am really thinking that he is a white Sussex! Here are some more pics:

So, we probably got Yeller figured out, any ideas on the duck?

And see when you get to see the whole body, the "blockiness" goes away.

Possibly a White Orpington. Not all Orpingtons are as fluffy as other birds. Having a white Sussex would be very rare. I do not know if any hatcheries even sell the pure white variety?

Beautiful roo... I was thinking White Orp.. but yeah, probably a white sussex... I've never seen one before!
