Right now my ducks have access to a kiddie pool and I have 2 one gallon watering jugs. during the day they free range in our backyard and at night they go into there house. I built there house with a large safe run attached that they can access all the time from the their house. My problem is figuring out a good watering set up for when I need to keep them in thier run for the weekend. They finish the one gallon jugs or nock then over. I wanted to see what kind of watering systems you guys use for you ducks if you have to go away for a day and a night and they will be confined to their house and run. Pics would be really great.

Thanks,
Dom

you could try a multi event short cycle water timer. i have a couple that will turn on four times per day for as short as two minutes that i use for the dogs water and misting system for plant cuttings.

I went out to the pen this morning to find their water bowl dumped over and Wendy standing on it yacking her head off. I am looking forward to seeing what others are doing. I have a camping trip coming up.

yes. look at the products from Orbit and Raindrip. i use both. batteries last me from march through november then i remove the timers so they don't freeze. these two versions i use run from two to four cycles per day depending on the application. you can locate them at either end of the hose.
