I had a chick that couldn't hatch on it's own. It's completely dry now but still has a lot of the membrain dried to him. One of it's little wings is dried to it's body. How do I get it off so it can fluff up and be comfortable?

You can either wet them down or use a wet q tip or something or give it a few days and it will all come off on it's own.

I've not had this happen, but I've read up on it. From what I've read you can do a couple of things. If you have a water misting bottle put warm water in it and spritz the chick. once the membrane is moistened you can try pulling it off. You can also moisten a paper towel or wash cloth with warm water and hold it around the chick until the membrane is moist. Make sure to keep the chick nice and warm while you are doing this.

Oh AWESOME!! Thank you so much for the help. I feel so bad for the poor lil thing. It doesn't seem to be bothering him but the poor thing can't get it's balance cuz of the wing being suck. Again thank you.
