need help with a rescue

At that age, no, we all went outside in The Limousine*. We all lived together in the house for three months - of course, the ducklings were in the brooder, and that took up just about the entire small guest bedroom. There were eleven. It was one of the most intense, wonderful three months of my life.

So on nice days, we would go outside where I had set up a plastic poultry fence, and some big steel bowls to splash in. It was great.

This was taken just before they moved outside:

Be careful with them and the chicks - sometimes they hurt each other, not from meanness, just tread on top of each other.

*The Limousine is a big coated wire dog crate, covered with plastic poultry fence to keep little heads inside while in transit.

Awww, shame on that store and that lady! And, to me, they look younger than 3 weeks because I don't see any feathers on them. Domestic breeds grow big in size, first, then feather out later than wild ducks. I usually start seeing feathering on domestic ducklings at about a month old.
