Need Help with a Silly Goose

"Your" gosling has imprinted on you. You have some good advice to follow. You don't have any trainer chicks around to keep with the gosling? I remember the advice for turkey poult raising was to get some chicks to teach the poults how to eat. Can your friend loan you some of her own chicks so they can flock together while you are still enjoying the gosling?

So I suppose this is primarily because she's the only gosling then. I told my friend what to expect, she has some chicks and she will put one with her. They're almost 5 weeks old so she doesn't want to put them all in there and then we could always get a chick at the feed store even though I have 22 eggs in the incubator and 50 more on the way, lol...none hatching for a few weeks though. Oops!
Yeah, if there were more than one they’d copy each other and figure it out faster.

How is you little one doing @CluckNDoodle ?

She's doing great! Thanks for checking in on her! She went to her forever home and has some little chick friends now. She's also eating with minimal persuasion. She was just a late bloomer I guess, lol. It took several days of hand feeding. 😅

Lucky little goose to have you helping her along!
