Hi!
I am SO sorry to bug you guys, but tomorrow, or the day after, I am getting a shipment of 165 chicks.
I am getting 85 Golden comets, 20 Black Stars, 30 Barred Rocks, and 30 Australorps.

Most of the chicks are already spoken for, but I am FREAKING OUT about being able to tell the Black Stars, Barred Rocks, and Australorps apart!!!

Any advice on how I can tell the little boogers apart?

I REALLY do not want to give the wrong chicks to the wrong person.!!!!
If you have photos of how I can distinguish them, I would be ETERNALLY grateful!

(this is red star which is similar to golden comet I am pretty sure)

Click on the chick pictures on each link to see an enlargement.

Feathersite might have some good pics too if you search for each breed- the chick pics are usually at the bottom of each breed's page.

I have only had the BAs and Golden Sexlinks....sorry I cannot help more!!!

Thank you so much for trying to help.
I am getting the garage ready with 3 separate pens (I will not have to worry about knowing the Golden Comets! LoL)
Got all my feeders, waterers, Heat lamps, bedding, etc, etc, etc, all arranged and ready to be set up.....

I am going to have the Black Stars and the Golden Comets in one pen, the Australorps in the 2nd and Barred Rocks in the 3rd.
I keep looking at photos of each breed online, and just when I think I have them figured out, I see I was wrong LoL.

The ONLY thing that I think I have so far is:
Black Stars will probably be DARKER overall, have less white on them (on the face and chest).
Barred Rocks seem to have lighter colored legs.
Australorps seem to have more white on them overall (on the face and chest).

I really hope they will at least separate them for me in the shipment.
Getting more and more stressed out with each passing hour. lol
