Need help with duck

You could try an antibiotic but not knowing what’s wrong makes it hard to know how to treat. How is her poop looking?

Her poop is still runny, and bright green what antibiotic would you suggest if I took that route? Also, do you think an epsom salt or molasses flush would cause more harm then good? I don’t know what she could have gotten into but read somewhere that they can get stuff from flooded ground?

Did you go to the vet? What did he/she say? I’m looking for anything that could possibly help my girl.
The vet did a bunch of tests and it turned out to be a mass in her reproductive tract. He is not sure entirely what it is but was pretty positive it wasn't an egg and could not be removed with surgery. The green in her poop he said was probably from this mass pressing up onto her liver (bile from liver).
I need to re-read your post again to see if I can think of any other info he gave that may be helpful to you, but wanted to get back to you with the findings. I put a much lengthier diagnosis

This was not something I expected to hear so you girl may be having a totally different issue.
I am so sorry, I know how hard this is when you want to make our babies better and feels like there is nothing we can do.

I’d rather have @casportpony rec an antibiotic. Not sure she is on tonight. If mine I’d maybe try Baytril you can order it on line. I bought some just to have in case. I’ve never had to use it though. It if this is bacterial then Baytril is the way to go but it’s very hard to know what’s best but something is def wrong with her. Can she hold her neck in normal position?

I am by no means super knowledgeable about ducks, I only have my own experiences to go by but wish I could be more help. The vet did seem quite concerned when he saw our ducks poop which was a slightly darker green.
Do you have a regular dog/cat vet that is close by who may be willing to test her poop for parasites even if they don't treat birds?
Is her abdomen swollen at all?
Could she have possibly eaten something she wasn't supposed to?
Our vet tested poop 1st and then 2nd was X rays to make sure she had not ingested any metal.
She is a beautiful girl, I really hope you are able to get her feeling better.

I read your post and it is similar but my girls poop is just staying lime green. It hasn’t changed to white. Also, she doesn’t want to come out of the coop at all and is avoiding the pool and other ducks like the plague. It might be the same thing but I can’t be sure without also taking my girl to the vet. Thank you so much for all the information!

I was going to call my local vet tomorrow to see if they would write me a script for an antibiotic, I might as well ask if they could do a fecal test. Thank you for the insight. This is my friendliest girl and I really don’t want to loose her but so far nothing is helping. She is starting to loose weight like crazy too since she isn’t eating.

I haven’t noticed her struggling with her head. She doesn’t get out of the little bed I made her very often. I go in their every couple hours to bring the water and food to her (they are in there all the time but I don’t think she gets up to go to them) She takes 4-5 drinks of water, flushes her nostrils and takes 1-2 bits of feed. Just a couple minutes ago I noticed when she stuck her bill in the water it turned the water slightly green, is that from her trying to clean her feathers? I think I’ll run her another warm bath tonight
