Need Help with Duck

Good News! We took her back out, and we though she may just want to chill. Nope! She was so happy to see her boy Angus, and she led the flock on a full circle of the property. She's acting just like herself. Phew. Thanks all for the help as always.

That's great to hear, given the sudden onset and fast recovery it makes me think it may have been a case of Obturator Paralysis, but I may be wrong. If she were mine I'd administer some calcium gluconate to strengthen her eggshells, and help promote healthy oviduct muscles so this doesn't reoccur.

Tell me about administering calcium gluconate, please.

Thank you guys so much. She has been doing great and we got busy with the million other chores around the farm. I'm looking on Amazon right now.

One thing to note is that Mouse has laid a succession of smaller eggs (like pigeon-sized) after her issue. I'm assuming that is somehow related.
