Need help with duckling ID

Someone found these 2 ducklings in their backyard yesterday. Since there are no farms nearby we figure they were probably purchased at Tractor Supply and then dumped because they were getting big. We know the white one is a male Pekin. We're trying to ID the brown one. We were thinking maybe Khaki Campbell but she has eye stripes. She is a lot smaller than the Pekin so seems small for a Rouen but we also think she would be pretty big for a Mallard duckling. Her bill is dark, her legs are dark and her down is blue/gray. Any ideas? We can't keep them long enough to feather out because ducks are not allowed as pets in our town. We are giving the owners a week or so to claim them but then we will have to find them a home.

Pekin and looks like a Runner Duck..Cute. Strange someone dumped them...

I doubt very much if the owners are going to step up and claim them.. Do you have a water fowl rescue in your area? Or go to Where am I where are you look up NY and post there maybe someone close by would like them. The brown one looks like Rouen with the eyes stripes.

She looks more like a Rouen to me because of the eye stripe.

2 eye stripes, typical of a rouen, but I have no idea what runner ducklings look like so that's a possibility too
