Need help with egg eating chickens

I tried the hollow eggs filled with spicy stuff, and I'll tell you guys now that it didn't do the job. Hot chili sauce, spicy mustard, wasbi, fresh ground horseradish, nothing worked. If anything, it just made my hens go nuts and eat the eggs faster and now they have a taste for spices ... don't know how they will get over eating plain food/bugs now lol.

I kept up with the head flicking though, and I think that combined with the marble eggs has really deterred them *knock on wood*. They might still get an egg here or there, but mostly they ignore them.

I'm having the same problem this week. Girls are young. We switched feed last week and they are not happy about it...not eating it. So I think that's the problem. I also think we could use another nest box (we have 1 for 4 hens).

I found this list...I thought it might be helpful to someone else too.
