Need help with identifying breed

Any clues to what breed this is? It came from TSC and was one of the ones my kids picked out without me paying attention. I’m thinking it’s some sort of Brahma rooster from what I’ve half way researched on google. It was yellow when it was a chick and is probably 5-6 weeks old now and is got the brownish feathers and feathers in its legs. I’m a total chicken newbie so I appreciate any inputs. Thanks.

Cockerel yes....brahma no....brahma are pea combed. What color are the legs.....they dont really look yellow but could be light distortion

Definitely not a brahma with that single comb, but it does look to be a cockerel for sure. TSC gets its chicks from Hoover hatchery, so perhaps it is what they are calling "midnight majesty marans", or they also have black copper marans.

Thanks. I’ll get some better pics of him after while. The feathers on his legs are lighter color. I’ll pick him up and get some good pics.

Best one handed pics I could get. The wing tips are lighter colored. More like a dirty white with some brown in them.
