We have a male and female mascovy ducks born around April, the male is attacking our female, pulling off feathers, bones and part of the wings, the male lifts up its feathers on its head and attacks humans also even if we are just trying to feed him, the ducks were raised together and both used to. Be very sweet the female is sweet and loves attention while the males acts like it wild, they are inside ducks plz help me figure out the problem the male is trying to kill our female

How old are they? And you need to show the male that your the dominant drake, might need to seperate them by kenneling the male in a look but dont touch spot.
When fancy started doing that to speedy, I got down with them and straddled him to the ground with both legs on each side of him. Held him down by his head by placing my hand at the base of his head and top of his neck... dont hold to hard, but enough to keep him there until he stops squirming. You have to be consistent.

He might be hitting hormonal stage 1 before the omg I wanna R & P every female insight. Fancy was trying to dominate speedy, wouldn't leave her alone or let her eat... I had to put seperate bowls out and keep him away while she ate/drank.

Once he got through that stage, he went back to being sweet and loving then he hit stage 2 and he just wanted to jump her every 10-15 mins it felt like. But because of me being the dominant, she knew she could come running to me and I'd protect her from him and he'd make this noise that almost sounded like muttering under his breath at us and stalk off to the food bowl.

You’re poor girl is going to get killed if you don’t do something ASAP.

Muscovy drakes are notorious for being aggressively horny, but the fact that he’s even attacking you makes me worry.

For right now I’d separate them immediately so he can do no more harm. You may need more females or to just get rid of the drake.

But I’ll let some better experts chime in!

Good luck!

I know many people keep Ducks as house pets but they are not domesticated for that purpose. They need stimulating Duck things to do.
The Drake is just being a Drake and doesn't sound happy in his current situation.
