I ordered an all female batch of day-olds from McMurray. Well, now they're approximately 13 weeks old and I'm definitely seeing the differences. I didn't have trouble telling the sex of my Speckled Sussex girls, but the Silver Laced Wyandottes are all over the place (or so they are to me).

I'm requesting a call to arms from my fellow chicken lovers. Please help me sex these babes! Thank you!

The cockerel among the iris bulbs is definitely a boy, nicknamed Mr Salt.
The rest are as follows, plus a SS I'm still unsure of..

The birds in pictures 4, 10 and 11 look the most like boys beside Mr. Salt, but the only signs I see are somewhat larger and pinker combs and wattles. So I would watch those birds but I feel they could go either way, so don't make any decisions quite yet on getting rid of them. The Sussex in picture 7 also has a pink comb & wattles but I think it's a pullet.

I find that at this age the tail feathers are the clincher for me when in combo with comb and waddles.
Uniformed, broad tail feathers = pullet. Scraggly, thinner feathers = cockerel.
I'll
Could you try getting side pics of them? I would like to see saddle feathers.
I'll grab some better ones tomorrow morning. These are all I could snag for now of the suspects..

13 weeks? I say they're all pullets. Even the one with the longer waddles still looks like it has pullet coloring/patterning. My BLR Wyandotte cockerel is about the same age (14wks) as your ladies, and he is very boy looking. His waddles are twice as long as #1. In fact, his waddles were that big at 4.5 weeks.

There are some Wyandotte pros on here, so I hope they'll chime in. As for me... Girls.
