Need help with Pekin duck

I have a Pekin duck whom has what looks like a splinter under her toenail. That part of her foot is severely swollen. Anyone in or near Cheboygan, mi that could help me?

Go to your state thread at “where am I where are you” ask there your poor ducks needs that out ASAP or a vet.

Post some pictures of the bottom of the foot. Also let everyone know her bedding, living and diet situation.

Possibly broke its toes or has bumble foot infection.

A vet might be best too just so the duck isn't in any more pain...

Two of my girls had this this summer went away in about a month I figured they stepped on a thorn they are always in the sticker bushes

Soaking in Warm Epsom salt water may help then if you can see where the splinter or thorn is try using a pair of tweezers or drawing salve. But do something ASAP so the infection if that’s what it is doesn’t spread.
