Need help with setting right temperature

I’m new and have a 7 days old morning dove. It hatched last Sunday. It gained 3 gr so far. Based on suggestions from this website I kept it in incubator and I gradually reduced the temperature so far to 98.5. Should I keep lowering the temp daily? I reduced to 97 yesterday and felt it was too cold for the baby dove. Its body and foot wasn’t warm. So I brought back to 98.5
Also I’ve been reading and every website says baby doves supposed to leave nest and gather foot by 12th day but based on what I see I don’t see that much growth to support that. It baby dove still doesn’t have feathers
