Need Help With Wet Bedding

how do they drink the water or get to the water? do they get in the container? im having this problem with my ducks so i was wondering

This thread is from 2012, but I think that's the idea.

A lot of folks use a pan or other container and put some sort if mesh over it. I used a baking pan with a cookie rack in it. The ducks could climb on that to get to their waterer, and the pan caught a lot of the mess.
