Need help with Woods style monitor windows

You Woods style coop builders have my admiration. I’ve seen beautiful builds here, and now I’m into my own, but I’m stumped as to finding the upper monitor windows. I just want a simple hinged top with a bar to hold it open, no crank. And a way to shut it tight to avoid drafts. Any ideas?

You can get windows such as these at most Home center stores.
Go there with your desired dimensions and you should find something that will work. You will most likely need 2 or 3 depending on width of your coop.

These were what I used for mine. They tilt inwards on my coop and I haven't had any issues with water coming in. I made my roof overhang to protect them.
