Need help w'my computer

I hope someone can help me, I'm not too computer savey, but I am capable.
The problem is I can't upload pics. When I go to the network setup wizard it advises me NOT to allow file and printer sharing. All I want to do is be able to upload pics to photobucket etc. Does anyone know about this stuff and if so what do I need to do?

when that message comes up, do you click OK and try to proceed?

If not, do that and ignore it.
Its usually just a precaution, kinda of like a "recommended setting".

Just try to proceed and see what happens.

I agree with that...just hit okay and see what happens.

Does this happen when you hit UPLOAD on photobucket? You may just have your security settings high enough that it warns you.....

All I do is save the pictures to My Picture folder on my computer and then upload them to photobcuket. Not sure what network setup wizard is.

Something is wierd. The network setup wizard shouldn't come up.
You must be using vista.

Does a yellow bar show up on the top of your screen when you go to
upload that says something like "Internet explorer has blocked *****"?
If so right click and allow.

Give us more details.

Yeah.......what PC said. I don't understand the need for the network setup wizard to be coming up. (I know nothing about Vista.) Typically, when you want to upload photos to a site like photobucket you log into your account on the site and find the link to upload photos -- the application should then open a window that gives you the chance to browse through the files on your computer and select the one you want to upload. Typically............

I agree, you don't need to do any networking to upload pictures. Just know where your pictures are kept, and when you go to upload them, use the uploading software and go to where you had saved the pictures.

I tried to use the Java based (Upload Multiples) tonight and it wouldn't
load. I believe photobucket may be having issues. The regular ftp/http
uploads work fine.

I appreciate all the info, I'm using windows xp. No yellow bars appear. I did fix it to where I can share the pic file. But the upload to photobucket still doesn't act right it won't upload at all. Use to be all I had to do was hit browze and click on what I wanted to upload, but now it just won't do a thing.

Both are browsers like Internet Explorer. I love Opera and many people
here use Firefox. They are both free to use. When I have an issue with Internet
Explorer I just use Opera and it usually works. This isn't a fix it's an alternate
solution. You may find yourself never wanting to use IE again once you try one
of those.
