Once you make the safe hole and smelled inside and everything checks out OK, give him exactly 24 hours to make progress. If he doesn't THEN we can intervene. But we don't want to until then, exspecially if he has NOT internally pipped..

The dark spot could be bacteria infection OR to much water inside. You will be able to determine just as soon as you make that safe hole. If a bacteria infection go to the kitchen and get yourself an Onion.. You'll know why just as soon as you reply back..

I thought if it was pipped internal down there it would die by now,but it looks in the right postion to hatch rt.Do you want a candled pic so u can see what i mean?

YEK, did you smell inside does it smell?? That surely doesn't look good, can you see movements at all??

no smell at all.when i candled earlier i could see it moving.
