Need help

Hi I'm Joanna need some info ASAP I found 5 dead hens in my pen this evening one in the nesting boxes and the other 4 right next to them they all had swollen and purple vents and i found a bloudy egg!

They were fine this morning no signs of being sick at all

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated!

They are new hens I raised them from chick's last summer

I also found one of my hens dead today and found an egg with yellow on the outside of it- almost like dry yolk on it. I am sad and need help also. Good luck Joannalisaray. I will watch and see what your answers are. I am so sorry!

That's a weird puzzle. Sorry I have no take on it but, do recommend that you post at "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread. Please post in full detail. I hope they can help you. A vet may have been able to do a necropsy. It's very odd that they all had the same symptoms
