I brought my 3 week old chicks outside today because it was hot. They started eating the grass like crazy. I was wondering if it was ok for them to be eating the grass so long?

Eating grass is fine. Mine eat constantly

Best they have Chick Grit available to help their gizzards grind down the grass. Long grass can cause crop issues.

I put a bucket of grit by them but they are not eating it.
