I had a hen who was broody last week and I put her in a separate crate to break her broodiness. She doesn't seem to be broody anymore. Each time that I have let her out to free range with the others, she will be fine for a bit but then she will jump on and bug the same exact hen she bugged before. What is happening. I have been told to wait it out but I am getting really annoyed.

Yes, it will be okay for a bit and then she will start doing it, she has never done this before
Has she ever shown any aggression toward this particular hen before? Not necessarily jumping on her, but a peck here or there? Anything?

Is the victim lower than the aggressor in the pecking order?

No to your first questions and the aggressor was lower than the victim

Wow, that's bizarre the victim is just taking it then.
Does your bully show any more broody symptoms or are you pretty sure she's broken?

I am pretty sure she is broken. She isn't puffed up and squawking like she does when she's broody.
