Found my lavander oprington like this this morning. She couldn’t keep her head up, hunched, wings droopy and puff.

What is going in with her?

She is currently on Amprol it’s the 3rd week now. She didn’t show sign, but some of my chickens did.

I applied diatomaceous earth under her wings and vent 3 days ago, because 1 of my chicken show creepy crawler(mites or lice not sure).

She is not eating and I tried to give water with amprol.
She does still jumps, but she’s very lethargic.

Is she walking and using her legs and wings normally? She may have wry neck (crook neck, torticolis) which is a neurological symptom that can be caused by an injury, a vitamin E or B1 thiamine deficiency, or can be a symptom of an illness that affects the brain. I would get some human super B complex, and give 1/4 tablet daily, a vitamin E 400 IU, and some egg yolk daily for selenium. Make a mushy feed of chicken feed, water, and egg, and feed her twice a day with extra water.

Yes she tries to walk and tried to jump to her flock after I took the picture.

I checked them last night and they were fine. She was sleeping in the roosting bar hanging her neck. I wonder is she might have fell or something. She prefers to sleep with her neck extended.

I have all my birds on amprol for 3 weeks now. I stopped amprol today and offered just water. I also syringed fed her watered down scrambled egg and offered watered/mashed crumbs. She eventually ate on her own. I’m trying to let her rest a now.

Am I okay to give her Vitamin b1 after treating Amprol? Should I wait till tomorrow to offer Vitamin B1 Thiamine?

I’ll try to get vitamin E and poultry cell if I can find some.

Yes, you can give vitamins now, it won't hurt anything post treatment with amprolium, it only matters during treatment. 3 weeks on amprol is a long time, so thiamine deficiency is certainly a possibility. I would supplement the B's and also the E as suggested. Hopefully she improves on the vitamins. Diatomacious earth isn't really a good treatment for lice/mites. If you find them on her then permethrin products or Elector PSP are much better for getting rid of those. Unless you are seeing them on her I would not treat her for that until you get her feeling better on the vitamins.
