Need Help

I went in by my goose today and he wasnt looking good. He usualy follows me around and honks, but today he was moveing real slow, sleeping alot and shakeing his head . I was wondering if something is wrong with. Need Help

Sounds like it. Any other symptoms? How long since he's been wormed or you've checked for mites? Are there any other members of the flock? If so, are any of them showing symptoms? If not, quarantine him away from them, if possible, until you figure out what is going on, just in case.

i never wormed any of the birds. The others are fine but he just seems very tired and shakes his head alot also. Should i worm all the birds and if so how to i do it? dont think he would be the onlyone to have mites and i would think that its a bit cold in wisconsin for him to have mites. Please help

Can you please describe all his symptoms in detail, how long you've been noticing them, what he eats, what type of habitat he is in, his age, how many are in the flock, breed, etc etc? For a reference under the chicken Diseases and Illnesses section there is an outline of questions everyone should answer so that people viewing the topic can get more information on the bird. Also, is there a vet in your area that you could call or bring your bird to?

he is about 1 year old with another goose and 4 ducks with him and he has been like this for 3 days. He is real slugish not moving alot and shaking his head. But he is still drinking and eating a little. idk about a bird vet in my area. i will keep an update
