Our big tom at lunch today is sick. He seems drunk, tired, can't walk. I thought it might be his leg, but can't find anything. He don't have runny nose, or anything. He is tired and just laying down now.
Thanks

just adding, standard bronze , he seems so tired, it is very hot here for the date 85, he has 30x30 pen with a hen, shade, water and flock feed.

is he wheezing or rattling when breathing? if so you might want to try tylan 50 1cc every 15 lbs twice a day for 4-5 days to clear his lungs. Don't give him the tylan unless he is having breathing issues.

How is your turkey this morning? I just saw your post this morning when I logged on.

Please read my post on the thread below. Let me know if you are seeing the same behavior/symptoms in your Turkey. I took my Bourbon Red Tom Turkey to the vet (Avian Specialist) this past Saturday and he said that if a person's turkey has a respiratory problem, the person won't know until it is too late or the turkey is DEAD. He said that a respiratory problem is a "silent disease". The turkey may not show any visible signs until days later. And to top that off, all of your other turkeys can contract the same disease.

Please keep us posted on your turkey's condition. Sorry to hear that he is not feeling well. Fingers crossed that he is ok.

He seems to be the same, no breathing problems. I gave him water/electorlites. He is alert , just can't seem to walk away, flops around. He looks fine just sitting there, but he goes to move and can't get up on his feet or balence? I got is seperated just in case.
