I was driving home today and I found a baby wood duck on the side of the road next to it's mom that had been hit by a car. I have it in a tub aware container with moist duckling food and a little dish with some rocks and a little bit of water and under a heat lamp I was woundering if there is anything I should do to help it it is kinda stressed out right now. I have chickens so raising babies is no problem

You need to contact a licensed wildlife rehabber for your area so that you can get this little one into their care. While you may be experienced with raising domestic fowl, you may be putting yourself at legal risk by doing so in this case in possessing wildlife without proper permitting and/or doing an eventual disservice to the little one by "saving" it but raising it in a manner that does not conserve it's wild nature and enable it to go on to live out a natural life vs. being human imprinted and dependent.
