Need help!

My Aylesbury Duck has suddenly become sick and I'm not sure what to do. When I went to let them out in the garden this morning I was concerned neither of them came out of their bed, usually they come out pretty fast. I opened up the door to check on them and my female was laying down in the way of their exit and the male was stood waiting for her to move but she wasn't moving. When I got her out her eyes were weeping and closed and she wasn't very energetic. I was worried she might have been in shock because next door had been strimming the grass and the noise had scared her or something so while I went out I gave her water and sat her in a quiet room in the house. She was standing okay but all she seemed to want to do was sleep. When I got back she was still accepting water, but she hasn't eaten anything yet. She's wobbly on her feet and she still just seems to want to sleep. Her breathing seems fine, shes been vocal since I got back if I walk out of her sight and she chutters to the male who i've brought in for a bit because he was stressing she wasn't there with him. She's just been trying to preen herself but having difficulty cause shes so wobbly. I'm not sure what to do for her, I don't think our local vets know much about ducks and I don't think she could handle a train ride to a better one. She seems to get bursts of energy and tries to stand up and move around but just falls over. They are both 8 weeks old and male seems perfectly fine apart from having to be away from her, hes always following her around like a shadow.

Do you think she may have eaten something toxic? You might want to do a flush to remove anything toxic inside. Also give her some fresh water with some Apple Cider Vinegar in it 1-2 tab to 1 gallon of water she can wash her face and drink it and hopefully will help ACV works as an antibacterial and also a tonic. But if you think there is a chance she may have eaten something them she needs a flush I'll get you the link. Thanks for the reply. I don't think there's anything in the garden that they could get hold of that's toxic, but my boyfriend did spray outside the back door with fly spray when I told him not too and there could be a chance maybe she could have picked up and ate a fly that died from that, would that be enough? But they don't come up to the back door (Theres a stairway down to the celler next to back door they don't like going past that) usually they stick to their pool and the grass until bed time when I put them away for the night. She has finally eaten something about 15 minutes ago but she's so unsteady. Here poo is very watery but I'm guessing that is because she's had nothing but water all day. I'm trying to figure out what to do with the male at the moment, hes a bit skittish around people (She's a people duck but hes a duck duck if they makes sense haha) but he frets and calls out for her if he can't see her, I dunno if I should keep him inside tonight while I see if she gets any better or put him in his coop at bed time like usual. Either way he will be stressed but I dunno if being near her will be less stressful for him or putting him out on his own.
I will have a look at the link and try it, it won't hurt to try if its not the problem will it?

No it won't hurt to use a flush a long as you follow directions. Were the ducks close by when he sprayed? they are very sensitive to chemicals if she ate any of the dieing flies this could be the problem. , doing a flush may help get the chemical out of her system. I'd keep them together, If you can give them a quiet out of the way spot where there is not much going on he will probably feel more secure being with her than out on his own. Lets hope it passes and she'll be good as new soon.

Thanks for your help yesterday. She is able to stand better today and is eating and drinking and preening herself much better than yesterday. He heads still a bit wobbly and her balance isnt 100% just yet but I'm hoping shes getting better now, she seems more like herself today.

That's great news. so did you do anything or just wait it out? if she did get into something she must be getting it out of her system.
