Need Hummingbird Feeder**UPDATE**new pics

wow! that is alot of hummingbirds. i have never put up one. i just thought a homemade one might help. but sounds like a big headache! i love to attract birds to our property we have 13 acres and 5 acres cleared. i had one hit the window while i was at the kitchen sink! scared me to death. but i guess it made out okay, did not find it dead. we have plants around and flowers and have seen hummingbirds come up to those, even on my front porch and for the first time i saw one land in a tree. the only time i have seen a humminbird stop, but it did not stay for long

Model 220, is the Grand Master, and there are a couple more that hold 48 ozs.

The Grand Master is still way too small... We are really not like most of the rest of the country when it comes to hummingbirds!

My best friend's father, who lives in another state, has found that some of the feeder bottoms, the part with the flowers, will screw onto 2 liter bottles. I realize this is not a gallon, but you might consider trying other bottles these bottoms might fit. Perhaps there is a glass gallon bottle that would work. One with a small opening. I know, grasping at straws, but sound to me like it's worth a try.

Lucky!! Look at all those little hummers! They are so cute! I have two feeders because there are about five birds... One big fat one that "requires" his own feeder

and then the four or so skinnier ones!
But wow... I only have to fill them up once a week!

Wow!! Great pics. I just love hummingbirds. You must go thru alot of sugar. I will keep my eye out for a large feeder while I am garage saling. But we never have that many h-birds around here at once.

try ebay and try craigs list for where u live. there is also freecycle where u can post a want and people will contact u if they have one, locally.

i am envious.. i hope to have some by next yr, i planted all sorts of stuff that attracts them at my new house and got some feeders, but nothing this yr.

Wow! I have had up to 8 but the ones here only come to the feeders about two at a time.
They have feeders on sale at the TSC.
I love to watch the hummers.....They are on my website too.
