Need ideas for frozen treats for hens? ASAP, please..

we put water in milk jugs and freeze them then take a hammer to them and crush the ice into blocks put them in pans of water during the day several times a day.
We got up to 107 with index of 110 its been really hot here I am so ready for fall. We also chill watermelon and cut into small squares they love that. Tomatoes they like too.

I make yogurt in my crockpot, freeze it and overripe bananas in 3# margarine container. I use Rubbermaid container lids to 'serve' the frozen treat...lots of hens can gather around on that and they drink what melts...I swear they look like they are licking every drop up off that lid!

I some times give my chickens some strawberry popsicles. they LOVE them!!!!!

We canned cherries earlier this summer and froze the rotten worm filled ones. Not only can they eat the cherry, but there is a treat inside the treat as well! We toss a couple of those out to them once in a while on hot days and as soon as they melt enough to peck, they devour them!

I live in Alabama and heat and humidity are terrible. I have been mixing a cup of alfalfa pellets and a cup of water in a gallon can and putting it in the fridge at night and feeding the following afternoon. 14% protien and really cools them off
