Need info about new chicks

They’re so silly! What bedding do you use?

For their first week i use a towel or puppy pad so they can grip and walk properly without falling then i move them onto pine shavings.

My chicks are eating Crumble Layer Feed and I add Ultrakibble for them. Do your chicks drink water ok? Do you have commercially available food and what are you using?

Chicks shouldn't have access to layer feed. The increased calcium can cause organ issues later on. If you butcher your flock after a year or two it probably doesn't matter, but if they're pets, that's something to keep in mind.
