need info on Ava Missouri

I am researching places to move. So far Arkansas tops my list but I found a very nice piece of property listed for sale near Ava. Can anyone tell me anything about the area? I know nothing about Missouri.

What do you wanna know? I live in Southeast Missouri but travel that way twice a year on my way through to Branson. I love the area and everyone seems really frendly. Missouri is also a very cheap place to live and many people around there have farms and livestock. I always wanted to live out by Mountain Grove which is just north east of Ava.

My bff's husbands ex and kids lives there.Pretty quiet from what I hear...which is the same as any smaller town in the midwest LOL.

All I know about Ava is they have a yearly horse show every year around Labor day. And you guessed it the breed is the Missouri Fox Trotter.
