I have 7 Chinese Ringneck Pheasant and 32 Blueback Ringneck Pheasant eggs in one of my bators, (w/fan and auto turner) that will be going into lockdown on tuesday, (may 1st) and 12 Black Ringneck Pheasant, 5 Rio Grande Turkey and 6 Eastern Turkey eggs in my second bator, (also w/fan and auto turner) that will go into lockdown on wednesday, (may 2nd). They will all be transfered to LG Still Air bators for the hatch.
I have read and heard several different temp. and humidity requirements for lockdown for Ringneck Pheasant and Turkey. I have questions that I desparately need answered due to the hatch being so close. I am hoping you experts here can help me.
1.) Temp during lockdown for Pheasant and Turkey,
2.) Humidity for above, and
3.) How many days should I give the eggs to hatch while in lockdown before I can assume they aren't going to hatch (if there is no activity).
I have both of my LG Still Air bators plugged in so they can stabilize before transferring the eggs on tues. & wed. They are both reading 100* temp. and 62% humidity with no fluctuation at all.
PLEASE ADVISE ME ON THIS!!!!!!!!
Thanks,
Tim Davis
