Hi, BYCers!

It's jadeduck13 again! I need some information about the history of geese. I have to write a paper for my school on what other people know about a certain topic. Sounds weird, I know, but it's all about writing! It would be great for someone to come up and tell me a bit about what they know about the history of geese!

Thank you a lot!

Reading your post got me to thinking I really don't know much at all about the History of Geese so I went to Bing and came up with this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geese gives more info than I could ever even think of, Now Speceider[Clint] could probably help you out if he comes in.

I would suggest you get a copy of :Man & Waterfowl" by Janet Kear. I balso believe there are chapters of domestication in Delacour's Waterfowl of the World, not sure which volume. Probably Paul Johnsgard's books and Frank Todd's books have a chapter on domestication.
