Need Legal Advice about a chicken coop

Make sure you fix the fencing and plant grass seed where it was and TAKE PICTURES to show that you put the property back to the way it was. In fact, take a lot of pictures of the house and yard as you left it so if anything does arise, you have proof.

And I sure as heck would take my OWN chicken coop back with me, especially if it was just sitting on blocks or something and not attached.

It doesn't really matter what the "manager" says.

It's YOUR coop, and they cannot stop you from taking it
The biggest mistake was saying anything about it in the first place.

And as others have said, they can't make you leave at all on short notice.

Take your time AND your belongings and don't worry about what they think, since they obviously don't care about what YOU think

I'm with Bear Foot Farm on this one. I wouldn't even acknowledge what they had to say, pack it up and get ready to move it like you would any other property you own. If it ever comes back and it's decided the coop is theirs(won't ever happen) at least they'll have to piece it back together. But that is nuts, it's clearly yours, just pack it up and forget what they have to say.
