Need little conformation

My bird is an African Grey parrot. Starting price ~$800.00 and up. My vet holds my bird like this. I pay the vet ~ $100/hr. I hold my bird like you do. The bird is fine with this, it is the humans on this site who have a problem with it! The neck is the strongest area on a bird!
Yeah i figured that cause i did see many vets do the same and wow 100 an hour they dont have animal insurance?

I know you are getting upset by people focusing on the way you are holding your bird. But it’s difficult for many of us to not focus on that. It’s uncommon for people to hold them that way on here. And we personally wouldn’t handle our birds that way. As for the best way to handle a bird, that may be one way to do it, but it’s definitely not the safest or best way.

But that a side, it’s very difficult to tell the gender just by a few pictures, especially of a younger bird.

You said that you are already aware of it’s gender? If so, why did you ask on here if you already know? And I’m sure we’re all curious to know how you are able to tell on such a young bird.

Im just busting your chops paront but im glad u take care of your bird =) and i didnt say i know the gender people can tell me which gives them a chance to either steal what i have or give me false info. The technique they use over here put a stick in the vent if it jumps its a cockerel if it stays still pullet if it dies its sick which i find nonsense im located in West bank israel the backyard baladi chickens sky rocketed costing 35 dollars per bird around 4 months which is why I'm expanding not alot of people have the land and resources to raise animals here so im taking advantage of it

Also most storez who sells birds their cages are all dirty cooped up birds looked roughed up when i open up my place im gonna show all the birds in a clean place so more customers thats why i ask non stop questions from all you experienced folks this application is more of a blessing then an app and im always open to everyones solution and wisdom

Please do not put a stick in a chicken's vent, ever. That's bad advice.
