WerWe talking about names ,too and are thinking about names from song from the 80's; Jenny, Amanda, Sherry, Roxanne, Janey or country; Elvira, Jolene, Delilah, Genevieve, Lucille, . . .

Okay I've got to ask about the first name on your list. Alissa. Why/where'd you come up with that?

I ask because it's my first name and very uncommon in that spelling. I've only known one other person with that spelling of it.

I would also like to add the names Pebbles, Paisley, Lily/Lilly, Sophie, Cosette

Love the names you guys listed!! I actually have a few chickens already with some of those names. So far the names that my family and I have chose for our new babies are Mahamud/moe (golden laced wyandotte) cashew and almond, (red cross) and Joy (black sexlink). We still need two more names and I'm thinking about ollie, Paisley, and my mom said a few others but I forget what she said.

Not that I've ever seen. Like I said I only know of one other person with that spelling but I know three others with a "y"

Okay guys so our babies are named Cashew, Ollie, Mahamud, Badger, Joy, and Bunny. Thank you all for the ideas, though I didn't use them this year, I absolutely love the names and will definitely use them in the future!!

I love the spelling like that!! Ive only seen it a few times before, but I absolutely love it!!

I wanted to name one of mine Bunny but my 13 year old wouldn't let me. lol We went with a Rappers & Raptors theme Delta, Echo, Blue and Charlie and Biggie, Tupac, Dre, Marshall and Hen Dogg. The best part is the one my son named Blue is turning reddish brown. So we have a brown chicken named Blue and a 'blue' chick named Marshall.
