If you go to southernliving.com, you really ought to look up the recipe for peppery chicken fried chicken. It is FABULOUS! There's just something about a hot, crispy chicken filet and a big old pile of mashed potatoes smothered with cream gravy. Great...now I'm hungry!

I like to use bon appetit and saveur websites for weekend cooking (http://www.bonappetit.com or http://www.saveur.com respectively). Sometimes their recipes are a bit highbrow, with either super expensive, hard to find ingredients or a laborious process. But they are generally really really good. I too am a regular fan of Southern Living.

I brought a Southern Living cookbook home from the library yesterday, will spend some time there.

Speaking of cookbooks, I don't usually use them much, cause I can find things on line. But, I checked out the Cook's Illustrated book on poultry and am quite impressed!
