Last night when I put my chickens in for the night I noticed just above one of my cockerels eyes that there was puffy skin.
I assume it was from either being pecked or scratched by a branch. Yesterday, one of my two cockerels, had a mouse and was running around with it as the rest of the flock chased after. I am thinking this may be where a possible injury could have been sustained.
