Need opinions on gender of mystery Meyer cookie and cream chick!

Just some update pictures at roughly 13 weeks old! So far I see no male saddle feathers 🤞🏼

I think she is a girl. Male saddle should show up by 13w. I have a marans hen with the same kind of pink comb at 9w old.

By the way, your chicks are super cute. I ordered a Houdan from Meyer last year, but she didn't survive the shipping.
I was thinking the saddles would show up by now too. I had been searching all around her feathers for pointy ones coming in but all I have seen are fat round feathers (even new ones coming in now too)! She's getting tired of me sifting through her feathers lol. The comb is what always threw me off since my aunt has one that is exactly the same age (ordered our chicks together) and the comb is very pale, but the same exact size as my chicks.
Thank you btw, I found that meyer has some pretty good quality chicks but shipping can be super hard on them. I lost a Faverolles and an Ameraucana in shipping, at least I ordered two of those breeds and the remaining two are very healthy and pretty!

Pullet. Still cute!
Awesome! I always felt like she was a pullet despite having a darker comb at 9 weeks and others saying she was a cockerel. I love how she is turning out, getting more mottling the older she gets.

Expect eggs soon. That comb is getting red.
She’s been going into the coop inspecting the nest boxes while the older girls are laying, I’m thinking she’ll be the first of the pullets to lay. She is quite small so I think she’ll lay bantam sized eggs.

Just wanted to do a final update that at 20 weeks of age, Molly is 100% a gorgeous pullet.🥰 I wanted to update this for anyone who views this in the future to compare their cookies and cream chicken and to see that pullets can have pretty dark combs early on. She started getting a darker comb and red face at 9 weeks of age but still turned out to be a girl!
