I have a 6 week old fuzz ball, the rest are feathered out. I'm thinking It's a boy but hoping it ain't cuz I currently have 5 boy suspects in my straight run. Any help would be appreciated.

That is a cockerel. Pullets don't start turning red in the comb until about 14 to 18 weeks. Any chick with a bright red comb before 10 weeks old is a cockerel. Pullets just won't be that pink, so early.

Wattles can vary chick to chick and breed to breed. If the comb is starting to turn pink at six weeks old, that comb is only going to get more red. Sometimes a pullet will 'blush' at the base of the comb, but it won't be pink all the time. A cockerel's pink comb won't fade back to yellow, it will be pink all the time.
