Sorry, Long winded.

I have 6 chicken right now. 4 hens and 2 roo's. I'm trying to sell my 2 RIR roos with no luck. I have one buff isolated because she is healing from an injury. The other chick I had in a small dog crate inside the coop outside. I have not been able to integrate the buff hen because the roo's were pecking at her to the point i had to seperate. She was in the crate for 1 week. The rir's paid no attention to her in the crate but as soon as I let her out they bullied her and she just took it.

So then I thought I would put the two roo's in the crate because they are either going to sell in two weeks or they are being butchered cause i can't keep them. So now the roos are in the crate and the buff is loose in the coop. the Rir hens are not even paying attention to the buff, they are trying to figure out why their boys got locked up. Do you think this way will work? I plan on checking on her quite a bit throuhout the afternoon/ and having DH check on her tonight when i'm at work.

Let me know what you think.

If you're planning on getting rid of the roos any way, I'd say it makes more sense to separate them from the rest of the flock, and let the buff integrate.
