Need quick opinions

[Bird Brain]

2 things.

1. My hen hatched 3 of 4 eggs. Started 2 days ago. Two the first day and one yesterday. She has one left and when I candled it 5 minutes before the first pip there was swimming, so obviously not as developed. I went down just now and the egg has cooled a bit. Has she given up? Should I take the egg and put it in the bator and try it?

2. Put water infront of momma and she drank so much she threw it back up on me. Should I be worried? I know I have drank enough (WATER PEOPLE) to make me feel sick and blech. Is that what she did? Any other experiences?

If you candled the egg and it wasn`t developing and the hen is off the nest, throw the egg away. Don`t put water or food so close that she can reach it without getting up. They need to move around and eliminate.........Pop

It was swimming....alive and such. I just think maybe it was a newer egg. It had a live swimming thing in it a few days ago

If she is not interested in the egg, I would put it in the bator. I think that she just hasn't drank that much latley and it just was too much. Was it cold? I have passed out

from drinking too cold of water.

Put it in the bator. I had an Australorp that added 3 more eggs a week after she started brooding. After she left the nest with the chicks, I incubated the newer one. 3 more babies- 5, 7, and 10 days later!

 

[Bird Brain]

Well when I went don she was still on it. I left it...come home from work and DH said she abbandoned it and then they left it down there. Found it this morning. Cold
