Need rabbit identification

I hope to never own a cat again. I've come to really dislike them. I have a fear though that if I do find a place and I have a lot more room, I'll probably get back into breeding and showing dogs. That's just kind of stuck in my blood I think. Way too many decades of doing it. I'd show chickens but I can't get them to gait and stack. LOL

They look like American Chinchilla rabbits to me.

They aren't plush enough and one has almost a mane. I wonder if they are mixed with Lionheads. Hoping they aren't a mix at all. A lot like these go through the auction. I was hoping that's what they were. I love the feel of Chinchilla rabbits, but just don't think that's what they are.

Hopefully I'll get time later to get some individual pics. Was going to do it last night, but had a headache and couldn't sleep and wasn't a good mix. I have cages to paint and a car to take to the shop, but I'll try and get better picks.

What breed of dog did you breed and show?

Several. Started with GSDs when I was 12 and then added Dobies. In my mid 20s it was Akitas and I handled and trained other breeds. Borzis when they were called Russian Wolfhounds. Twenty + yrs of Rotties and now I have Cane Corsos ( plural is actually Cane Corsi) and I think I'm sticking with these. I'd raise Rotties again but could never afford what I had again and I just can't settle.

Wow that's a lot of different breeds! I adore GSD's, I have 5 currently. They are the only breed i've ever owned and probably ever will

.

I begged for them since I was a little girl. I love them, but I don't see the same type of dog I showed back then. I do have a mix though. Just because.

Wasn't to happy with the first crop we got. I looked at Isis and cried. Then I got home with her and my son looked at her and cried. He loved her big ears. They did more of a fighter cut and I was so peeved.

All of my GSDs were also from Germany. Rotties too. You just don't see the same things in an American show ring.

You'd love Corsos. They are a lot like Rotties in personality and goofiness, but when they work, they are awesome.

I would be terrified to get a dog's ears cropped. It looks great but I would be raging if it was done wrong!

You definitely don't, ASL are pretty much their own breed.

They seem like a good breed from what I have heard, I definitely love the look.

I love how this started out as "what breed are my rabbit's?" and is now a dog discussion

. Did you get any answers on the other forum for possible rabbit breeds?
