He just couldn’t hold it until he got out of the egg... so embarrassing for him.

So. . I assume that chic is dead? Did it hatch like that or did you open it?
I would guess infection. . but I really do not know.

the chick is alive and as fluffy as ever I think it was just poop the back end of the egg was stuck on for awhile so he may have just had to go.

Oh lord.. I need to work harder on making my thoughts clearer in type...
I know they have to pass meconium soon after hatch, I just didn't know they can pass it before hatching like mammals can in utero.. Ive not seen it happen so was unaware.
