Need showing help!!!

HI,
I was thinking about showing a chicken sometime in a real poultry show... Any body know a good breed to show? please post pictures of your show birds!!

First, you should decide if you want Large Fowl or Bantams. Bantams use less space and eat less feed. That makes it easier to raise more in a smaller space. If you have room for LF, there are many great breeds to choose from there, too. You should attend a poultry show and find a breed you really love. You will find that everyone has their favorite and they are all good choices, so it's really up to you.

Lots of shows will have birds for sale and you can talk to the owners about their breed before making a choice.

We raise and show Moderns because they are small, easy to handle, curious... and we just love them! Good luck with your endeavor.

thank you and it doesnt matter if it is lf or not. I was wanting to raise a whole flock of show birds. Do you have some pictures of your show birds??

those are pretty birds!! I love the white cochin ( I think its a white cochin).
