I have rescue Mallard hen and a pair of Rouens that are a couple and the male is the dominate one of the bunch. Little rescue duck is the outsider. There is someone wanting to give away a pet male pekin duck on Craigs list and I was wondering if it is likely the rescue duck and him would get along so she would have someone. Any view or experience on this?

Just like people- ducks have personalities too - so it would be hard to say what may happen. But you could try it- and see how things go. Being that the other drake is dominant- and your little mallard is the outsider- you could try introducing them together first- rather than introducer the new drake to all three at once.

I am not sure how to do that, all three are in the backyard now free range. It is winter so they are sticking to my small pond and a couple of shelters I made for them to get out of the wind. When the couple eat and drink and get out of the way, then the rescue ducks takes her turn.

Oh, never mind... I just called and somebody already got the duck. And I was starting to get excited...

I would try to find her another hen. Unless you are going to separate them at breeding season a 1:1 male to female ratio isn't ideal. I would also put her and the new hen together somewhere seperate from the others so they can become "friends" before introducing the new one to the pair.
